Obituary of Larry Snyder , 64

Larry Andrew Snyder 64, of State College, went home to be with his Lord, on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at his home.

He was born September 18, 1950 in Duncansville, a son of Lillian Walters Snyder who survives and the late Orville Andrew Snyder. He had two brothers, Calvin LeRoy Snyder of Maitland, FL, and Lynn Joseph Snyder who preceded him in death.

In 1974 he married Ruth Grenoble who survives at home.

Larry was a1968 graduate of Hollidaysburg Area Senior High School, and 1972 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management.

Mr. Snyder founded Lifetime Orphaned Children’s Ministries where he gathered support for orphans in Myanmar. His compassion for orphaned children was one of the primary driving forces in his life, having devoted countless hours and making multiple trips to Myanmar to provide aid for the orphans there, even into the early stages of his illness.

Some of the other things Larry enjoyed were antique trucks, hunting, camping, antiquing, flea markets, and leading Bible studies.

Friends will be received from 10 am to noon Saturday, November 29, 2014, at the State College Evangelical Free Church, 1243 Blue Course Drive, State College, PA. The funeral will follow at noon at the church with the Reverend Keith Maurer officiating.
