Obituary of Laurie Way, 47

Laurie J. Way, 47, of State College, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born November 28, 1964, in Bellefonte, she is the daughter of Phyllis J. Yearick Way of Howard and the late Richard L. Way. She was a 1982 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. She was an L.P.N. Laurie attended the State College Church of Christ. Laurie enjoyed spending time with her nieces, nephew, and great niece, scrap booking, reading, and her companion, Buster, the cat. In addition to her mother, she is survived by one sister, Sharon A. (Daniel) Hall, of Snow Shoe; and one brother, Richard F. Way, of Bellefonte. Laurie is also survived by her aunt, Clara Houtz, of Bellefonte; her nieces, Jennifer L.(Harry) Warner, Christine M. (Matt) Moore, and Sheena D. Way and her nephew, Kyler R. Way; and great niece, Autumn Lidgett. A memorial service will held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 7:30 P.M. with Rev. Brian D. Vasey officiating. Friends will be received Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the funeral home from 5:30 P.M. until 7:30 P.M. Burial will be in Schencks Cemetery, Howard Twp., Centre Co., Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa.
