Obituary of Lee Perryman, 75

Lee Russell Perryman, 75, of Bellefonte, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. A son of Lois M. (McClintic) Perryman and David E. Perryman, he was born on April 11, 1938, in Linden Hall. On February 26, 1960 he married the former H. Jean Dress, who survives at home.
He attended Hublersburg High School. He was employed at Corning Glass, Inc of State College for 30 years as a shift mechanic. He was a member of the Pleasant Gap American Legion.
Lee was a skilled deer hunter and fisherman. He played baseball for the Hublersburg Team and also enjoyed playing softball and soccer. His favorite teams were the Pittsburgh Pirates and Pittsburgh Steelers. Lee was a generous and kind person; it was a pleasure to have known him. He will be greatly missed by many.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons; Steven Lee of Bellefonte, Mark Alan of Howard, and Jesse Linn of Bellefonte; three brothers; Lynn of Milesburg, David of Central City, and Terry of Pleasant Gap. He is also blessed with five grandchildren; Lindsay, Adam, Olivia, Tera, Amanda, and step-grandchildren Megan, Cory and Cody. He will be greatly missed by his faithful dog, Puggie.
Lee was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Shirley (Perryman) Bergeron, and two brothers, John and Barry.
A public visitation will be held at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA on Tuesday, April 30, 2013, from 6-8 PM. Funeral services will be on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Rob Tevis officiating. Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
