Obituary of Lee Shreffler , 62

Lee E. “Bud” Shreffler, 62, of Bellefonte, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. A son of Gloria (Heverly) Corage, who survives in Bellefonte, and the late James E. Shreffler, Bud was born on September 8, 1952, in Bellefonte. He married Sharon Young, who survives at home.

Bud attended Bald Eagle Area High School and retired from Parkway Plaza Apartment Complex after 19 years of service. Bud was a ‘Jack of all trades’ and he enjoyed fishing and spending times outdoors.
Along with his wife, he is survived by one daughter, LeeAnn Bathurst (Chad) of Blanchard, two grandchildren; Johnathan Shreffler and Jessalyn Bathurst, both of Blanchard one stepson, John Young (Stacee) of Gainesville, FL, three step grandsons; Jeffery, Keniris and Christian, along with siblings: Pamela Shreffler of Daytona Beach, FL, Jalea Cantu of Bellefonte, James Shreffler (Nina) of Bellefonte, Tony Shreffler (Nicole) of Millheim and Bryan Shreffler of Bellefonte. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Services and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.

Bud’s family would like to extend a special thanks to the doctors and nurses at Mount Nittany Medical Center for the excellent care he received while there.
