Leslie Edwin Kline Jr., 82, of State College, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2013 at his home.

Born on June 2, 1930, he is a son of the late Leslie Sr. and Julia “Judy” Kline.

Les was a 1949 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and also honorably served our country in the Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Kline was employed and retired from the State College Post Office in 1992.

He enjoyed baseball, hunting, and was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Penn State Football Fan. Leslie also enjoyed bowling, where he was a member of the Seven Mountains Bowling Hall of Fame and a Board Member of the Seven Mountains Bowling Association for many years.

Mr. Kline is survived by his loving wife, Nancy (Bradford) Kline at home; two daughters, Joan K. Merritts and her husband Mark and Brenda L. Gusciora and her husband Dean; one son, Bob L. Kline and his wife Kathy; grandchildren, Heather King and her husband Jason, Chris Easton and his wife Tabatha, Matthew Kline, Jamie Wert and her husband Chip, Laura Kline, and Christine Merritts; great grandchildren, Angela L. King, Brian T. King, Corrina Easton, Tristan Klinefelter, Luke Klinefelter, and a great grandchild due.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Donna June Hoy.

Family will receive friends from 6 PM until the time of the Memorial Services at 7 PM on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Mount Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College with the Rev. Carl Hill officiating.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family at Centre County Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Mr. Kline’s memory to the Mount Nittany United Methodist Church, 1500 E. Branch Road, State College, PA 16801.
