Lewis Stanford Artz, 61 of Yarnell, PA, passed away at Juniper Village at Brookline in State College. Thursday, May 26, 2016. He was born on February 12, 1955 in Bellefonte, PA a son of the late Gerald E. and Jean L. Miller Artz. Lewey was a 1973 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School and a graduate of Triangle Tech in Greensburg with an Associate degree in HVAC. He was a member of the Yarnell United Methodist Church.

He was a Field Engineer for Thermal Product Solutions LLC in New Columbia. Lewey played football for Bald Eagle Area, where he helped coach PeeWee, Midget and Jr. High football, he was also a PIAA official for football. He was an Eagle Scout. He was a member of the Corvette Club of America. Lewey is survived by one sister, Donna Jean “Artz” (John) Chronister of Yarnell, his faithful companion, Karma, two nieces, Marilynn Chronister of Yarnell, Carolynn (Tim) Stoicheff of State College; great niece Kiara McClusick, great nephews, Justyn “Bud” McClusick, Aaron “Jakey” McClusick, Derrick Stoicheff and Brandon Stoicheff.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Marilyn Artz and his faithful companion Runty.

Funeral Services will be held at the Yarnell United Methodist Church, 808 Yarnell Road, Bellefonte, Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Douglas W. Mellott officiating.

Family and Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home 201 Spring St., Milesburg, May 31, 2016 from 6:00 P.M.- 8:00 P.M., and at the church from 10 A.M. – 11 A.M. time of the services.

Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co., PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to Yarnell United Methodist Church, 1216 Runville Road, Bellefonte, PA. or to Boy Scouts Troop #45 in care of Robert Rhoads, Jr., 638 Moose Run Road, Bellefonte, PA. 16823.
