Lincoln Alexander “Linc” King, Jr., 62, of State College, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015, at home.

Born July 12, 1953, in Norfolk, VA, he was the son of the late Lincoln Alexander King, Sr. and Lou Willa Harriman King. On May 11, 1985, he married Karen Flebotte, who preceded him in death on March 4, 2000.

He is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth K. King and her companion, Lee Parfitt, both State College natives now living in Greensboro, NC; one brother, Geoffrey P. King and his wife, Alison, of Bernardsville, NJ. In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his son, Philip Edward King on January 18, 1992.

Linc was a 1972 graduate of Pennsbury High School in Levittown. He received a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Penn State University in 1976.

He was employed as a Technology Specialist for Nittany Office Equipment.

Linc was a member of the Corinthian Yacht Club of Cape May. He enjoyed sailboat racing, playing guitar, cooking, and laughing as loud as possible.

Visitation will be from 1 until 3 p.m., on Monday, December 28, 2015, at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College, PA. A memorial service will follow at 3 p.m., at the funeral home, with Celebrant Jackie Hook officiating.

An Irish wake will be planned for the summer of 2016 in Cape May, NJ.
