Obituary of Lois Bernice Keck, 86

Lois Bernice Keck, 86, of State College, died at the AnMed Health Medical Center in Anderson, S.C., Thursday, April 22, 2010.

Born in Corbin Kentucky, on June 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Leonard Foster Robinson and Hazel Martin Robinson. She married Emery Keck Jr. in Oct. 1942, who preceded her in death. Surviving are her three sons, Gary D. Keck, of State College, Ralph W. Keck, of Anderson, S.C. and Paul E. Keck of Greenville, SC; 10 grand children; 11 great grand children; and sister, Phyllis Robinson Peace, of Cincinnati Ohio. She is predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Thomas Robinson. Lois was a breast cancer survivor of 40 years and retired from the Pennsylvania State University in 1985. She was a past member of the Lions Club, VFW Auxiliary, Order of the Eastern Star, the Benevolent & Protective Order of Elks, and the American Legion Auxiliary.

A memorial service will be held for the family in Corbin, Ky. The interment will take place at the Merrimac Cemetery, in Grays, Ky. Sullivan-King Mortuary www.sullivanking.com.
