Obituary of Lois Rossman, 88

Lois M.Rossman, 88, of Rural Howard, died Saturday, April 27, 2013, in Eagle Valley Personal Care Home, Milesburg. She was born on June 26, 1924 in Spring Township, Centre County, a daughter of the late Nelson and Bessie Henry Grubb. Lois married Wilson A. Rossman on April 28, 1946. He died on June 24, 2004. Lois was a homemaker. She was a member of the church of The Good Shepherd of Bellefonte. Lois was a member of the Pleasant Gap Grange. She enjoyed spending time with her family, quilting and gardening. Surviving are three daughters, Debra A. (Butch) Richner of Bellefonte, Rose M. (Rick) Hutchings-Peterson of Howard and Joyce I. (Roland) Fisher of Bellefonte; one son, David A. (Susan) Rossman of Beech Creek; 14 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in dead by a daughter, Diane E. Rossman, two sisters and six brothers. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg with Pastor Robert "Bo" King officiating. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Bellefonte.
Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at the funeral home.
