Obituary of Lois Wallace , 95

Lois K. Wallace, 95, formerly of Bellefonte, died at The Fairways, on Monday, November 24, 2014. She was born June 30, 1919, in Long Island City, New York, the daughter of the late Joseph Lloyd and Ella M. Van Aken Kepler. On December 16, 1944, she married Richard G. Wallace, who preceded her in death, December 13, 2012. Lois was a veteran of the US Navy from 1943-1945. She was a bookkeeper and secretary for her husband’s business. Lois was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bellefonte where she sang in the church choir. She also enjoyed classical music, and she taught piano lessons in her home for 20 years. Lois is survived by 2 daughters, Barbara W. and her husband John Bullions of Lewistown, Montana and Kathryn A. Wallace of High Rolls, New Mexico. Also surviving are 2 grandsons, Mark R. Bullions of Cheyenne, Wyoming and Adam J. Bullions of Missoula, Montana.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Lloyd Kepler. DeWitt Kepler, Larry Kepler and Donald Kepler.

Family and friends will be received Saturday, December 6, 2014, from 12 noon -1:00 P.M time of services at the First Presbyterian Church, 203 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, with Rev. Douglas S. Elder and Rev. David A. Vogan officiating.
Burial will be in Advent Cemetery, Boggs Township, Centre Co. where military honors will be accorded. Memorial contributions may be made to First Presbyterian Church Choir, 203 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA. 16823.
