Loretta R. “Lori” Dixon, 75, of Boalsburg, died on Sunday, May 24, 2015 at Gesinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born November 7, 1939, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late Ellis and Hilda Grabenstein Rose.

She is survived by four children, Roni D. Francke and her husband, Richard, of State College, Brian Orr and his wife, Diane, of Millheim, Traci L. Harter of State College and Christopher D. Dixon of Boalsburg; one sister, Rita Crabtree of Youngwood; four brothers, Donald Rose and his wife, Sandy, of Cumberland, MD, Leo Rose and his wife, Dot, of Oldtown, MD, George Rose and his wife, Rennie, of Cumberland, MD, Paul “Pete” Rose and his wife, Patricia, of Oldtown, MD; two grandchildren, Ashley Orr and Devon Francke; one great-granddaughter, McKenna Lynn Orr; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three sisters, Delores, Hilda and Mary.

Lori was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Cumberland, MD.

She was an accountant for a private business.

Lori was a member of the Boalsburg Garden Club and an Investment Club.

She attended a monthly lunch with her high school classmates and enjoyed yard and garage sales, crafts, baking and Christmas.

Visitation will be from 2 until 4 p.m., on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.
