Obituary of Margaret A. "Peggy" Vroman, 70

Margaret A. "Peggy" Vroman, 70, of State College, passed away peacefully Sunday, Jan. 31, 2010, at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born April 20, 1939, in Clearfield, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Martha Grabosky Smith. On July 27, 1963, she married Delbert Vroman, who survives in State College.

She was a graduate of State College Area High School, class of 1957 and graduate of Geisinger School of Nursing. She was employed by Centre Community Hospital at the Willowbank Unit and later at Mount Nittany. She was a member of St. Paul's Methodist Church and the State College Woman's Club.

Margaret is survived by one daughter, Karen Elnawsany ( Hany), of Chicago Ill.; one son, Matthew Vroman ( Joyce), of State College; three grandchildren, Diana and Olivia Elnawsany, and Jacob Vroman. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby and three sisters, Helen, Jean and Pat. Margaret was the last of her generation.

Friends will be received Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, from 10-11 a.m. at the Faith United Methodist Church, 512 Hughes St, Bellefonte. The funeral service will be held at the church Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010, at 11 a.m. with Reverend Andrew Morgan officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
