Obituary of Margaret Turner, 69

Margaret E. "Peg" Turner, 69, of Yarnell passed away at her residence on Thursday, July 4, 2013. She was born in Danville, Pa. the daughter of the late Rev. Francis J. and Martha A. Dice Geiger and her late step-mother, Ruth McDannell Geiger. She was a member of the Milesburg United Methodist Church. Peg enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.. She was a master of all trades.

She is survived by two daughters, Maryanne E. and her husband David (Frog) Gilbert of Julian and Erin C. Salvanish of Julian and one son, Michael E. and his wife Nicole Turner of Yarnell. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Salvanish, Nathaniel Scott Gilbert, Heather Marie Salvanish, Molly Ruth Gilbert, Michael Francis Salvanish, Michaela Grace Turner and Katelyn Margaret Turner. In addition to her parents and step mother she was preceded in death by two brothers, David Geiger, Michael Geiger and her uncle, George Edward Geiger.

Funeral services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. Brian D. Vasey and Pastor Wayne Shamer officiating. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 6 PM until 8 PM. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Boggs Twp., Centre Co., Pa. Arrangements are under the direction of the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, Pa.
