Obituary of Marie H. Corman , 79

Marie H. Corman, 79, of Rebersburg, departed suddenly from this life on Sept. 23, 2010, at Lock Haven Hospital.

Marie, daughter of the late Eugene and Sarah Hosterman Stover was born in Haines Township on Oct. 2, 1930. She was a 1948 graduate of East Penns Valley High School.

On July 24, 1957, Marie married Randall Albert Corman. Mr. Corman survives at their home in Rebersburg. In addition to her husband, Marie is survived by two daughters, Suann Corman, of Rebersburg, and Donna Lucas (David), of Boalsburg. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Sarah and Amber Lucas also, of Boalsburg; and one brother, Dellas Stover, of Pleasant Gap. Marie was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Stover; and two sisters, Marion Keller and Arlene Dorman.

Marie enjoyed working with her flowers and doing vegetable gardening. She was formerly employed at the G. C. Murphy store in State College. Marie enjoyed spending time with her family. Her sudden passing leaves an empty place in the hearts of those who loved her and she will be greatly missed.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Monday, Sept. 27, 2010, from 9:30-11 a.m. at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. The funeral service will follow immediately at 11 a.m. with Rev. Julia Piper officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim. Contributions in memory of Marie may be given to the American Heart Association , 777 Penn Center Blvd., Ste 200, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15235-5928.
