Obituary of Marion Vonada, 76

Marion E. Vonada, 76, of Howard, passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Marion was born on Jan. 14, 1938, a daughter of the late Roy E., Sr. and Bessie Emma Shadle Smith.

She married David Vonada on Feb. 27, 1988.

Marion was a seamstress at Woolrich for many years.

She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ, Hublersburg.

She was a former member of the Marion Grange.

Marion enjoyed cooking and crocheting.

She is survived by two sisters, Naomi Mantle of Woolrich and Irene Eyer of McElhattan and a brother, Roy E. Smith, Jr. of Portland, Ore.

A funeral service will be held Sunday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main St., Howard with Rev. Ann Graves officiating. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Burial will be at the Hublersburg Cemetery.
