Obituary of Marlin A. Peters, 41

Marlin A. Peters, 41, of Howard, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at his home. Born on December 26, 1975, in Lock Haven, he was the son of Merle A. and Madelene K. Vonada Peters who survive in Howard. On June 18, 2016, in Howard, he married Tina M. Wetzel who survives at home.

Marlin was of the protestant faith. He was a 1994 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. He was employed as a truck driver and laborer for Advanced Disposal. Before working at Advanced Disposal, Marlin worked at Robinson Lumber doing various job, including driving.

Marlin loved farming and tinkering around the house. He enjoyed doing carpentry work with his dad. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Marlin is survived by his parents, wife, two daughters; Elizabeth D. Peters and Samantha M. Peters, both of Mill Hall, step sons; David B. Spicer, Jr. of Howard, Elmer R. Spicer of Monument, and James R Spicer of Howard, one step daughter, Jessica L. Spicer of Jersey Shore, and one sister, Merleen K Reppert and her husband, Alan, of State College.

Also surviving are his nine step grandchildren.

Visitation with family and friends will be on Tuesday, January, 31, 2017 from 6-7pm at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home in Howard. Funeral will follow at 7pm at the funeral home with Pastor Stan Johnson officiating. Burial will be private at Schenck’s Cemetery in Howard.
