Obituary of Martha Cathcart, 83

Martha M. Cathcart, 83, of Bellefonte, passed away on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at the Fairways at Brookline in State College.

Born on May 29, 1929 in Pine Glenn, she was a daughter of the late William and Edith M. (Meeker) Hoover.

Her Husband, George A. Cathcart, survives her.

She attended schools in Pine Glenn and also at Snow Shoe High School.

Mrs. Cathcart was a homemaker. She enjoyed caring for her grandchildren and loved flowers.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a former daughter in law, Kathy Cathcart of State College; five grandchildren, Ann Cathcart of State College, Katie Narber of Lemont, Joseph Cathcart of State College, April Cathcart of Georgia, and Emery Cathcart of Julian; a sister, Shirley Salvanish of Bellefonte; and five great grandchildren.

Two sons, Robert Cathcart in 1998 and Dennis Cathcart in 2011, preceded her in death.

Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family with Pastor P. Stevens Lynn officiating. Interment will take place at Centre County Memorial Park, State College.
