Obituary of Mary B. De Luca , 86

Mary B. De Luca, 86, of State College, died on Sunday, October 20, 2013, at her residence. Born February 13, 1927, in New York, N.Y., she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Frances Pagano Cali. On September 18, 1947 she married Charles De Luca, who preceded her in death on November 14, 2002.

She is survived by two children, Carol Ann De Luca and Anthony C. De Luca and his wife, Lynne, both of State College; three grandchildren, Jennifer, Richard and Joanne De Luca. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Mary was employed as a Secretary at Stone and Webster, Inc. in New York, N.Y. until she retired and moved to State College to be close to her grandchildren. She was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. Mary was an avid reader, even learning to use a Kindle when she could no longer make trips to the library.

Visitation will be 5 until 7 p.m., on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 South Atherton Street, State College.

Funeral service will be 10 a.m., on Thursday, October 24, 2013 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 867 Grays Woods Blvd, State College, with Father Charles M. Amershek officiating.

Burial will be in Boalsburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Schlow Centre Region Library, 211 S. Allen St, State College, PA 16801.
