Obituary of Mary R. Donahay, 97

Mary R. Donahay, 97 of Williamsport, passed away Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Manor Care Nursing Home in Williamsport. She was born on March 24, 1920 in Marsh Creek, the daughter of the late Ward F. & Effie M. Butler Yeager.

On February 2, 1946 she married William R. Donahay who preceded her in death on August 31. 2005.

She was a homemaker and member of the Beech Creek Wesleyan Church.

She enjoyed flower gardening and walking.

Mary is survived by a son; Larry “Butch” (Christina) Donahay of Williamsport and one daughter; Wanda Donahay of Lock Haven, one sister; Nancy Yeager of Lamar, three grandchildren; Amy Jo Harpster, Heather Nybo and Kevin Donahay, six great-grandchildren; Octavia, Jada and Taliah Harpster, Tavia, Audrie and Ethan Donahay and one great-great-grandson; Dominic Aaron Reynolds Jr. She was preceded by three sisters.

Private services will be at the convenience of the family with Rev. Alan S. Eckenroad officiating. Burial will be at Summit Hill Cemetery in Howard.
