Obituary of Mary Shultz, 84

Mary M. Shultz, 84, of Bellefonte, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at home. Born September 25, 1928, in Bellefonte, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Oliva (Pilato) Sciabica. She was married to L. Jack Shultz, Sr., who preceded her in death in 1997.
Mary was a 1945 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School and had worked at Dank’s from which she retired. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, the VFW Auxiliary and the Catholic Daughters of America.
Mary is survived by three daughters; Mary Jo Nelson and her husband David of Tyrone, Vickie Grafmyre of Bellefonte, Diane Roan of Bellefonte, one son, L. Jack Shultz, Jr. and two sisters, Jenny McGowan of Virginia and Grace DeHaas of Ohio. Also surviving are six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by six brothers and four sisters.
Friends will be received Saturday, January 26, 2013, from 8-9 am, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte, PA 16823.. A funeral mass will follow at the church, at 9:00 am, with Father Neil R. Dadey officiating. Committal will follow in St John’s Catholic Cemetery.
