Matthew R. Confer, 27, of rural Bellefonte, died Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at home. Born April 19, 1984, in College Township, he was a son of Kerry T. and Tina M. Shiffler O'Hara, of Bellefonte and Donald and Brenda Confer, of Centre Hall. He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed music of all kind and was a collector of movies. In addition to his parents, he is survived by two sisters, Donielle M. (Joshua) Holderman, of Howard and Nicole R. Confer, of Bellefonte; and two nieces, Brayson Holderman and Emerson Holderman, both of Howard. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents Joyce and Barry McKinley, of rural Bellefonte and his maternal great-grandmother, Lois M. Fisher, of Milesburg. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Thomas and Donna Baney, of rural Julian and his paternal grandfather, Mervin R. Confer, of Bellefonte He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Shirley Confer; his maternal great-grandfather, Merrill Fisher; and his paternal great-grandmother, Beatrice Millward. He was also preceded in death by a niece, Raedyn Holderman; and an uncle, Gregory Fisher. Friends will be received from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012, at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home in Milesburg. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 16. 2012, at the Milesburg United Methodist Church in Milesburg, with the Revs. Carl Hill and Brian D. Vasey officiating. Burial will be in Eagle Cemetery in Boggs Township. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
