Obituary of Miles Holt , 64

Miles E. Holt, 64, of rural Bellefonte passed away Friday, July 10, 2015, at his residence. He was born in Bellefonte, PA, on February 21, 1951.

Miles was sub-station crew leader for West Penn Power Company. He was a 1969 graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School. Miles was past president of the Sons of American Legion Post 893 of Milesburg. He was also a member of Clarence Moose, Young Democratic Club also of Clarence, Snow Shoe Fire Hall, Snow Shoe VFW, Mosquito Creek Sportsman Club and Camp Askins in Black Moshannon.

He was of the Protestant Faith. He was the son of the late Miles J. and Dorothy Belle Grubb Holt.

He is survived by one brother George E. (Christine) Holt of Milesburg. Also surviving is his partner Mary M. Taylor Bumbarger of rural Julian.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, John N. Holt and a nephew, John M. Holt.

Service is Wednesday, July 15, 2015, at 10:30 A.M. at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg, with Pastor Robert “Bo” King officiating. Family and friends will be received Tuesday, July 14, 2015, from 6:00 P.M. – 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co., PA.
