Obituary of Muchen Lee, 51

Muchen Lee, 51, of State College, died Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at her home after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Her family was by her side.

Born December 28, 1964 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, she was the daughter of the late Chun Wu Lee and Hsiao Lien Hsu. She was also the daughter of her American parents; the late Donald J. Tressler and Marcile Fisher Tressler, both of State College. She married Joseph A. Verica on February 13, 1993, who survives at home.

She is survived by two daughters, Maria Verica and LeAnn Verica, both of State College and a brother, Mu Bai Lee and his wife, Shin Jing and a sister, Mu Chuan Lee and her husband, Jason Chin all of Taiwan.

Muchen was a graduate of Fu Jen Catholic University in Taiwan and received her MBA from Penn State University.

She was owner and principal advisor of Muchen Lee Financial in State College.

She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church.

She was also an active member of the State College Rotary Club, as well as the Happy Valley Chinese Choir.

Visitation will be 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Koch Funeral Home, 2401 S. Atherton Street, State College.

A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, August 29, 2016 at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, 820 Westerly Parkway, State College with Father Neil Dadey officiating.

Interment will be on a later date in Kao Song Catholic Cemetery, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
