Nancy Jane Bixler, 76, of Bellefonte, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2015 at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born on May 10, 1939, in Milesburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late John C. and Ruth (Teaman) Hall. On October 19, 1968, she married Larry Bixler, who survives at home.
She was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. Nancy was a secretary at Penn State University and a charter member of First Baptist Church in Bellefonte.
In addition to her husband, Nancy is survived by two sons; Timothy Bixler (Dawn Davis) of Bellefonte, Daniel Bixler of Bellefonte, two grandchildren; Tyler and Paityn and sister-in-law, Ethel Hall of Zion.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Byron Hall.
There will be a public visitation held on Monday, August 3, 2015 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am at First Baptist Church 539 Jacksonville Road Bellefonte.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 am at the church with Pastor Greg Shipe and Pastor Aaron Hoffman officiating.
Burial will follow in Zion Union Cemetery, Walker Township.
