Obituary of Nichelle A. “Nikki” Boscaino Ridenour, 36

Nichelle A. “Nikki” Boscaino Ridenour, 36, of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, May 24, 2010 at Mount Nittany Medical Center surrounded by family and friends.
Nikki was born July 4, 1973 in College Twp. A daughter of Alphonsus A. “Cork” Boscaino of Bellefonte and Judith Hill DeHaas of Bellefonte. She attended Bellefonte schools and on July 18, 1998 she married her best friend Art Ridenour, Jr. who survives at home. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Bellefonte. Nikki was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking for her family even though she didn’t eat much of what she cooked. She was Ozzy’s biggest fan, his name on her hand reminded her that “Ozzy is always right”.
Along with her parents and husband she is survived by 2 very special daughters Taylor Brooke Boscaino and Skylar Reign Ridenour, 3 sisters Angela Boscaino and Elaine Hinton Cline both of Bellefonte and Annmarie Boscaino of Indiana; 1 Step-sister Larri Jo DeHaas of Milhiem; 2 Brothers Christopher Hinton of Bellefonte and Brian Boscaino of Kansas; 2 step-brothers Joshua DeHaas of Philipsburg and Brandon DeHaas of Milhiem. Her close friends and cousin Terri Hill of Bellefonte, her beloved Nana, Helen Boscaino and her wrinkled dog Tess. She was preceded in death by her gram Mildred Hill with whom she was very close.
Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. Funeral services will follow at the funeral home at 4:00 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Barry R. Folmar officiating. Burial will be in the Peace Garden at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Bellefonte at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, PO Box 288, Milesburg, Pa 16853 in memory of Nikki. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
