Obituary of Nicolas Stasko, 75

Nicolas L. ”Nick” Stasko, 75, of Clarence, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born on February 27, 1938, in Clarence, he was the son of the late Michael and Anna Baden Stasko.
Nick attended the Clarence School. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Clarence. He was employed at Hall’s Market for over 40 years before retiring.

Nick is survived two brothers, A. Henry Stasko and his wife, Priscilla, of Moshannon, and Andrew P. “Ruben” Stasko and his companion, Betty Lyons, of Clarence; two sister in laws, Milly Stasko of Moshannon and Carol Stasko of Clarence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, Nick was preceded in death by four brothers, Martin, Philip, Thomas, and John and by two sisters, Mary Kathryn Moore and Anna Moore.

Viewing will be on Monday, December 30, 2013 from 6-8pm with a Rosary service at 7:30pm followed by the Parastas service at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Snow Shoe. Funeral Divine Liturgy will be held on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 10am at the St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Church in Clarence with Father William Rupp officiating. Burial will follow at St. Mary’s Byzantine Catholic Cemetery in Clarence.
