Throughout her life she enjoyed spending time with her extended family, cousins, aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces—family was a great gift for her. She attended Good Shepherd Catholic Church and was a founding member of the St. Brigid of Kildare parish in Dublin, Ohio where she helped to establish the church, the children’s choir and the school. She was a Lady in the Order of the Holy Sepulchre. Her faith was very strong and a true foundation of her daily life. She was a graduate of St. Mary of the Springs High School. She graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Ohio State University where she was a TriDelt. She taught kindergarten and had a real love for every five-year old child—it was a magical age for her.
