Obituary of Paul Dann, 75

Paul W. Dann, 75, of Bellefonte, passed away on April 23, 2014, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. A son of the late Calvin Dann, Sr. and Helen (Sweitzer) Dann, he was born in Bellefonte on August 19, 1938.

Paul was a graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. He served in the U.S. Army. For his service he received the Good conduct Medal. He was a life member of the Bellefonte Veterans of Foreign War #1600, and the Bellefonte American Legion Post #33.
Anytime asked how he was doing, Paul’s response was always “Fantastic”.

He is survived by his son, Scott Dann and his wife Jennifer of Pleasant Gap, eight brothers and sisters; Grace Burris of Centre Hall, Calvin Dann, Jr. of Dover, DE, Marlene Struble of Bellefonte, Emma Schweiker of Royersford, Ginny Meredith of State College, John Dann, Sr. of Bellefonte, Nanny Lentz of Phoenix, AZ, and Mary Dann of Houston TX, along with four grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, William Dann.

Friends will be received on Monday, April 28, 2014, from 12-2 pm, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring St., Bellefonte, PA, with a memorial service to follow visitation at 2 pm, with Reverend Calvin Miller officiating the service.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
