Obituary of Paul Shuey, 55

Paul G. “Mick” Shuey, 55, of Milesburg, died Monday, January 27, 2014, at his residence.

Born August 22, 1958, in Bellefonte, he was a son of Guy B. and Dorothy Young Lucas. His wife, the former Anita Gray, whom he married June 3, 2010, survives at home Paul was a laborer having worked for NewmanHill Sanitation Company. Paul, enjoyed fishing, hunting and going junking. He was of the Protestant Faith.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Holly Hockenberry, Heather Shuey and step- daughter, Amber Lucas, all of Bellefonte; two step-sons, Timothy Lucas, Jr. and Matthew Lucas, both of Milesburg; two brothers, Larry Lucas, of Pleasant Gap and Steve Lucas, of Mifflinburg; five sisters, Jane Reeder, Beverly Reese and Evelyn Emel, all of Bellefonte, Cynthia Spicer, of Centre Hall and Ann Trostle, of Altoona; and five grandchildren, Jesse Hockenberry, Tessa Hockenberry, Brock Hockenberry, Elora Parker and Wolfgang Parker. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by six brothers, Rodney Lucas, Merrill Lucas, Fern Lucas, Tom Lucas, Charles Lucas, Timothy Lucas; and one sister, Patricia Reeder.

Services will be held at Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring St., Milesburg on Thursday, January 30, 2014, at 7 p.m. with Pastor Douglas W. Mellott officiating. Family and friends will be received Thursday, January 30, 2014, from 5-7 p.m. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dean K.
