Obituary of Philip Edward Orndorf Sr. , 53

Philip Edward Orndorf, Sr., 53, of Spring Mills, passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2011.

Born on June 19, 1958 in Lewistown, he was a son of Dorothy Irene (Kearns) Orndorf of Lewistown and the late James Orndorf Sr.

Philip was a 1977 Graduate of Penns Valley High School.

He had been employed at Tussey Mountain Ski Lodge as a Snow maker.

Mr. Orndorf enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding four wheeler and his motorcycle, spending time in the mountains, and especially spending cherished time with his grandchildren.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by two daughters, Carly Grace Ronk of Spring Mills, and Tabatha Klinefelter of Centre Hall; two sons, Philip Orndorf Jr. of Centre Hall, and Jesse E. Orndorf of rural Port Matilda; two sisters, Sherry Whitehead (James) of McVeytown, and Donna Young (Clint) of McVeytown; three brothers, James C. Orndorf Jr. (Mary) of Centre Hall; Eugene K. Orndorf (Barb) of Lewistown, and David C. Orndorf (Alishia) of Lewistown; and two grandchildren, Tristan and Luke Klinefelter.

Family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Sunday, August 28, 2011 at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 226 S. Pennsylvania Ave., Centre Hall.

All other services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
