Phillip A. Auman, 50, of Bellefonte died Sunday, November 20, 2016 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville.

Born June 6, 1966 in Bellefonte he was the son of Rebecca J. Brown and her husband Steven of Spring Mills and the late Blair Edwin Auman.

Phil was a 1984 graduate of Penns Valley Area High School.

He worked for 16 years at Penn State University, his most recent position was supervisor at the Berkey Creamery.

He was known for the size of his Stromboli from Phil's Pizza and Sub Shop. Phil’s greatest joy came from spending time with family, friends and his dogs.

In addition to his mother and step-father he is survived by one son, Austin Phillip Auman of State College; three sisters, Kim Wagner , Deb Auman both of Centre Hall and Tina Vancas (Kristopher) of Pleasant Gap; one nephew, Peyton Vancas and two nieces, Ashley Wagner and Alexis Franks.

Family and friends will be received 2-4 PM, Sunday, November 27, 2016 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 226 S. Pennsylvania Avenue, Centre Hall. The memorial service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home with Pastor Frank Harpster officiating. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
