Obituary of Phyllis E. Armstrong , 79

Phyllis E. Armstrong, 79, of Bellefonte, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 in Bellefonte.

Born in Bellefonte on October 31, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Philip B. and Laura E. (Meeker) Gross.

On June 23, 1951, she was married to Walter E. Armstrong, who preceded her in death on February 25, 2007.

She is survived by two daughters, Debra E. Acker (Lawrence) and Karen L. Rogers (Robert); three grandchildren, Jeremy G. Acker (Connie), and Ashlee L. and Philip J. Rogers.

Phyllis was a 1948 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School.

Along with her husband, she owned, operated, and served as a Secretary at Bellefonte Charter Bus Service, Inc. for many years.

She was a lifetime member of the First Presbyterian Church in Bellefonte.

All Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
