R. Robert “Bob” Glasgow, 80, of Spruce Creek, Huntingdon County, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018 at the AristaCare at Hearthside in State College. Born on September 13, 1938, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Russell W. Glasgow and stepson of the late Leona Glasgow.

Bob was a 1957 graduate of State College High School. He enjoyed working and had a long, successful career in sales. He worked for John Driggs Corporation from 1979-1990, JTE Corporation from 1990-1996 and most recently being employed by Coastal Precast Systems as Vice President of Sales and Marketing from 1996-December 2017. He was of the Catholic Faith.

Bob Liked entertaining, hunting, spending time with people he loved. He was very outgoing and giving, always went out of his way to invite people into his circle and make them part of the family. He found it very relaxing to have a glass of wine or fine scotch. While working, he enjoyed the “thrill of the kill” in being awarded multimillion-dollar contracts.

Bob is survived by his cousin, Jim Klinefelter of Tennessee and by his very close friends; Joe Wasson, Terrinni & Leylani Wasson, Jean Lohr, and Dick Carpenter. There many other dear friends and colleagues that Bob loved. It would be impossible to list them all, but all will miss him and his presence in their lives.

Along with his parents, Bob was preceded in death by an infant sister.

Visitation will be on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2-4pm at the Daughenbaugh Funeral Home in Centre Hall. Funeral service will be at 4pm at the funeral home with Deacon Thomas Boldin officiating. Burial will be private at the Reformed Lutheran Cemetery in Tusseyville.
