Rae A. Watson, 93 of Milesburg, passed away at her residence, Monday, July 31, 2017. Rae was born in Bellefonte on November 21, 1923, the daughter of the late Paul R. and Jeanette L. Longwell Spearly. On April 13, 1946 she married Joseph R. Watson, who preceded her in death on January 19, 2003.

She was of the Protestant Faith. Rae was a homemaker, who enjoyed baking, playing Bingo, attending the Grange Fair, but especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Penn State Football fan. She provided custodial services for the Milesburg Community Center and the Mid-State Bank. Rae was a charter membeer of the Milesburg American Legion Post #893 Ladies Auxiliary and was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #206 of Bellefonte.

Rae is survived by her daughters, Nancy L. (Reginal) Crust of Bellefonte, Suzanne (William) Ryan of Milesburg, Caroline (Douglas) Bush of Julian; her sons, Larry J. Watson and his fiancee, Adele, of Julian and Gary T. (Debbie) Watson of Dubois; her daughter- in- law, Cathryn Watson; her sister, Margaret Filer of Duncansville; her brother, Paul J. Spearly of Centre Hall. Also surviving Rae are her grandchildren, Terry (Dawn) Crust, Dawn Marie Watson, Brittany Watson, Ryan Watson and his fiancee, Kayla, Joshua (Jennifer) McClain, Devin McClain, Tyler McClain, Matthew (Julie) Watson, Eric Watson and her great grandchildren, Logan Crust, Amber Watson and her fiance, Dustin, Nathan Dillon Watson, Vianna K- Watson, Sincere K. Watson, Nathan Smith, Johnny McClain and Aubrey McClain.

Along with her parents and her husband, Rae was preceded in death by her son, Dennis R. Watson; her sisters, Marie Campanaro, and Ann Shultz; her brothers, John Spearly and Robert L. Spearly and her grandchildren, Timothy Crust and Ashley McClain and her daughter-in-law, Sharon Watson.

Funeral Services will be held at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, 201 Spring Street, Milesburg on Friday, August 4, 2017 at 12 noon with Pastor Ronald E. Baker officiating. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until 12 noon. Burial will be in Centre County Memorial Park, College Twp., Centre Co.
