Richard E. Henry, Sr., 84, of Lock Haven formerly of Lamar died August 14, 2018 at his residence.

He was born August 12, 1934 in State College a son of the late Roy B. and Roxie (Breon) Henry.

On August 20, 1953 he married the former Sally A. Kustaborder who survives at home.

Richard was a US Army Korean Conflict veteran (1953-1961). He loved to fly- he received his pilot’s license October 1965.

He was the owner of Henry’s Electrical and worked as an electrician for JA Hawbaker Construction.

Dick was a member of the American Legion Drum and Bugle Corp of State College.

In addition to his wife he survived by two daughters, Melody (Douglas) Wright of Lock Haven and Carol (Patrick) Heverly of Bellefonte; five sons, Richard E. Jr. (Diane) Henry of Snow Shoe, Robert Henry of Spring Mills, Barry (Ruth) Henry of Haneyville, Todd (Hazel) Henry and Jeffrey Henry both of Avis; two sisters, Betty Zettle and Adeline Sweeley both of Spring Mills; two brothers, Roy L. (Nancy) Henry and Gerald (Norma) Henry both of Spring Mills and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, Bonnie Ann and a brother, Ronald.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until Noon, Friday, August 17, 2018 at Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College. The funeral services will follow at noon at the funeral home. Interment will in Centre County Memorial Park with military honors provided by State College American Legion Post 245.
