Robert R. Williams, Jr., 89, of State College, died April 28, 2010 at Hearthside Nursing and Rehabilitation in State College.
Born April 24, 1921, in State College, he was the son of the late Robert R. Sr., and Esther Strunk Williams.
He married Pearl E. (Koch) Walton, who survives at Hearthside.
He was a laborer at Penn State University before retiring with 35 years of service.
Mr. Williams was a World War II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army.
He was a life member of the State College American Legion Post 245.
A Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 2, 2010 from 1 PM until the time of the Funeral Services at 2:30 PM at the Mark D. Heintzelman Funeral and Cremation Services, 1034 Benner Pike, State College.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Reading Hospital and Medical Centre, in care of the Paws for Wellness Program, in memory of Amanda L. Soo, P.O. Box 16052, Reading, PA 19612-6052.
