Obituary of Ronald Lee, 79

Ronald N. Lee 79 of Snydertown, passed away Saturday, 28, 2013 at his home. He was born in Walkter Twp., on August 15, 1934 the son of the late R. Nevin & Ila Naomie Heckman Lee. He married Carolyn Jean Van Hoff; an Iowa girl he met while stationed at Ft. Riley Army base, Kansas. She survives at home.

Ron was a graduate of Walker Twp. High School. He was a lifelong farmer in Snydertown owning a Century Dairy farm. He also drove bus and was employed at A.B.S. Breeder Service.

Ron proudly served his country in the U.S. Army for 2 years. He was a Walkter Twp., supervisor for 6 years, served on Walker twp. water authority, was a life member of the Walker Twp. Fire Co. and served on the Hublersburg Cemetery Assoc.

He is survived along with his wife, three daughters; Ronda Williams of Bellefonte, Colleen Bloom of Pleasant Gap, and Lorinda Brader of Archbald, Ohio. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Marcella Ann on December 31, 2001. One son; Darrell Lee of Snydertown, one sister; Janice Diebler of Bellefonte and one brother; Larry Lee of Keswick, VA., eleven grandchildren; Tulane Park, Todd Williams, Mark Williams, Chad Bloom, Chandra Capen, Lindsy Pierson, Ben Brader, Rachel Brader, David Immel, Kendra Immel, Aaron Keller and one step-grandchild; Brooke Repine, five great-grandchildren; Cameron Park, Madelyn Williams, Amelia Williams, Kaden Pierson, and Abigail Immel, and four step-great-grandchildren.

He is also survived by his faithful K-9 companion: “Bo”.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, January 2, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Kader-Neff Funeral Home, 135 W. Main Street, Howard. Burial will be at the Hublersburg Cemetery in Walker Twp. with military rites.
