Obituary of Ronald T. Shreckengast, 69

Ronald T. Shreckengast, 69, of Bellefonte, passed away at home on February 2, 2018. Born on February 23, 1948, in Bellefonte, he was the son of the late Warren and Evelyn (Hogancamp) Shreckengast.

He was a 1966 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. Ron was previously employed at Penn Tran. He was a member of Church of the Good Shepherd in Bellefonte.

Ron is survived by his loving nieces; Shawnee Korman of Centre Hall, Tanya Wright of Flower Mound, TX, and Desiree Sager of Bellefonte.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Shirley Delong and one brother, Donald Shreckengast.

Ron will be sadly missed by all who knew him and always remembered for all his loving, caring nature, and his many, many, hugs!

There will be a public viewing held on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 10:00am until 12:00noon, at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte. Funeral services will immediately follow at noon at the funeral home with Reverend Frank E. Skies officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Union Township.
