Rose J. Crozier, 92, of Centre Hall, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College. Born on February 3, 1926, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Angeline (Ponti) Presto. She married John Sweitzer in 1945 who passed away. On December 21, 1962, in Centre Hall, she married Ira W. Crozier. Ira passed away on May 26, 2001.

Rose attended the parochial school, in Naginey, PA. She worked at Murata Erie Electronics for many years before retirement. She was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Centre Hall.

Rose enjoyed decorating her beautiful home and took great pride in keeping it immaculate and organized. She enjoyed family get togethers and spending time with her grandchildren. As a member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, she loved attending church services as often as she could.

Rose is survived by her son, Ronald R. Sweitzer and his wife, Denise (Homan), of Centre Hall, and step son, James Crozier and his wife, Pat (Rheam), of Mattawana. Also surviving are her four grandchildren, R. Richard Sweitzer, and his wife, Vicki, Ryan R. Sweitzer and his wife, Laura, Doug Crozier, and Andy Crozier and his wife, Serena, eight great grandchildren; Kelsey, Colby, Landon, Hailey Sweitzer, Wyatt Lowry, and Selena, Dakota, and Lacy Crozier, and two sisters; Dora Presto and Francie Bubb, both of Milroy.

Along with her parents and husband, Rose was preceded in death by one brother, James Presto and one sister, Eva Kurtz.

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 10-11 am at the St. Luke Lutheran Church in Centre Hall. Funeral service will follow visitation at the church with Pastor Rebecca Horn and Pastor David Downer officiating. Burial will be at the Reformed and Lutheran Cemetery in Centre Hall.

Rose’s family would like to give a special THANK YOU to Dr. Coppes, Dr. Doberstein, and the nurses at Wynwood and at Mt. Nittany Medical Center for the care they gave, and the patience shown during this time.
