Obituary of Russell Keller, 67

Russell L. Keller, 67, of rural Bellefonte, died Wednesday, May 28, 2014, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born August 6, 1946, in Williamsport, he was the son of the late Edward and Eleanor Elizabeth Elvey Keller.

He was a 1973 graduate of Penn State University. He was owner of Your Cigar Den in State College. Russell enjoyed spending time with his family, his grandson, customers and cigars, gardening, canning his veggies, Andrea's cookies and Penn State football. He was a member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church in Bellefonte. On on December 14, 1973, he married the former Patricia A. Howard Keller, who survives at home.

He is survived by a son, Matthew P. and his wife, Maureen Keller, of Millsboro, Del.; and one grandson, Kurtis M. Keller, of Millsboro, Del. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Daniel Keller.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Saint John The Evangelist Catholic Church, 134 E. Bishop St., Bellefonte on Monday, June 2, 2014, at 11 a.m. with Father George Jakopac officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home, Milesburg.
