Obituary of S. Virginia Miller , 92

S. Virginia “Matta” Miller, 92, of Bellefonte passed away, Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at Centre Crest Nursing Home. Born on January 10, 1923, in Oak Hall, PA she was the daughter of the late Frank E. and Mary (Korman) Reish. She married Gerald M. Miller who preceded her in death.

Virginia was a homemaker. She attended State College School System. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ in Bellefonte and a former member of the Bellefonte Lanes Bowling League.

She is survived by three sons; Edward (Debbie) Miller of Zion, Raymond (Virginia) Miller of Pleasant Gap and Terry (Beverly) Miller of Zion, by one brother, Paul (Norma) Reish of Lock Haven one son-in-law, Gary Burd of Zion. Also surviving are ten grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Burd, one sister, Charlotte and three brothers; Ralph, Russell and Korman.

There will be a public visitation held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 9:00-11:00am at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 at 11:00 am at the funeral home with Reverend Brenda Clark officiating.

Burial will follow in Centre County Memorial Park, College Township.
