Obituary of Sharon K. Weaver, 69

Sharon K. Weaver, 69, of Port Matilda, died Monday, April 26, 2010, at her residence after a lengthy illness.

She was born Feb. 5, 1941, at Nora Springs, Iowa, a daughter of Millard V. and Juanita (Austin) Jones. She was married March 12, 1977, to Clarence M. Weaver. She is survived by her husband; children, Patricia Heires (Patrick Frank), and Teresa Decker, both of Pennsylvania, and Fredrick Mulling, of Iowa; step-children, Rhonda Olsen (Dan), Mark Genet, Robert Sampson (Nancy), and Brad Ohmit, all of Florida, Jim Genet (Deb), of Arizona, Becky Beard, of Pennsylvania, Ted Weaver and Cindy Mostrom (Mark), of Iowa, and Donald Ohmit, of Ohio; 34 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son Patrick Mulling; step-daughter, Theresa Omit, of Ohio; and step-sons, Clarence (Windy) Weaver and Clarence Dean Weaver, of Pennsylvania.

She was loved by all, and always enjoyed her crafts, gardening, flowers, her birds, traveling, and loved to joke around. Most of all, she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was last employed at K-Mart in State College.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 1, 2010, at 10 a.m., at the Derman Funeral Home, Inc., Tyrone, with the Rev. Lysa Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Shank's Cemetery near Howard. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
