Obituary of Sharon Lea Youtzy, 54

Sharon Lea Youtzy, 54, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at Lewistown Hospital. She was born October 3, 1961 in Bellefonte, PA. A daughter of John Foreman and the late Betty (Hironimus) McClintock.

In August, she celebrated her 25th anniversary as a proud Penn State employee and was currently employed at The Center for Workplace Learning and Performance as an Administrative Support Coordinator.

Sharon was a talented artist, enjoyed riding her pink Harley Davidson, and also enjoyed tending to her flower & herb garden. Her greatest pleasure was found in spending as much time as she could with her grandchildren.

In addition to her mother she was preceded in death by her hon, David “Doc” Labiaux, who she shared sixteen years with.

In addition to her father, Sharon is survived by her daughter Brianne Youtzy of Lewistown, brother Mike (Jennifer) Foreman of Spring Mills, grandchildren Emilea & Elliot Youtzy, & nephew Shawn Foreman. She was also survived by 3 stepchildren, eldest step grandchild Nick Labiaux as well as 3 younger, 2 step sisters,1 half brother & 1half sister and numerous additional nieces and nephews.

Sharon believed in looking for the 'shiny side' of things and that things always worked out. Her positivity was contagious and she made friends easily everywhere she went. It was important that her friends always knew how much she cared about them, just in case she didn't have another chance to show them. There is no doubt that she will be remembered as she always wanted to be – a positive force in the world.

A memorial service will be held Friday, December 11, at 7 pm in the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home, 120 West Main Street, Millheim, PA 16854 with Pastor John Reed officiating
