Sharon Rae Steele, 51 of Howard, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2009 at the Susque-View Nursing Home. She was born on September 16, 1957 in Bellefonte and raised in State College. She was the daughter of James Holderman and Dorothy Laird.
She married Lawrence M. Steele on October 31, 1996. Lawrence survives at home.
Along with her husband she is survived by 2 daughters; Jennifer Wehmeier of Howard and Rachel Eiler of Lock Haven. She is also survived by 2 grand-daughters; Camri Foster and Aubrey Eiler.
She enjoyed writing poetry and crocheting.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Contributions may be made to the funeral home to help family with funeral expenses.
