Obituary of Shirley Taylor, 82

Shirley Lou Taylor, 82, of Bellefonte, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014, at Memorial Medical Hospital in Savannah, Georgia. Born on June 14, 1931, in Bellefonte, she was the daughter of the late Edwin and Sara Williams and step-father, Paul Kerstetter. She married Robert H. Taylor in 1961; he preceded her in death on February 15, 1989.

She was a teacher’s assistant at Pleasant Gap Elementary School until her retirement in 1982.
Shirley is survived by her son, Sherman Keller and his wife Kitty, three grandchildren, two great grandchildren, her brother, Ronald Kerstetter and his wife Elva and her beloved dog Jake.

Friends will be received on April 12, 2014, from 1-3 pm at Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc., 206 N. Spring Street, Bellefonte, with a memorial service to be held at 3 pm with Rev. Calvin Miller officiating.

Burial will be private at the convenience of the family at Union Cemetery, Bellefonte.
