Obituary of Susan Marie (Leedy) Rosenbloom

Susan was born on March 21, 1948 the daughter of Kenneth L. Leedy and Geraldine V. Leedy. She grew up in Newport, Pennsylvania. After high school graduation, she moved to Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and attended Harrisburg Area Community College. It was there she met the love of her life, Paul Rosenbloom.

Susan and Paul were married in June 1969. Susan worked for a local television station and modeled. She and Paul were partners in marriage and life for forty-four years. They sold insurance, managed retail clothing stores, wrote a book and traveled throughout the country selling it and their ideas.

Their ventures kept taking them further south to the warmth of Jacksonville, Florida and Ponte Vedra Beach for their final business of brokering phone time and electrical rates.

Susan was predeceased by her parents and Paul. Surviving are her brother, John Leedy and wife, Bonnie, nieces Jennifer Leedy Loewen and husband Ben, Meredith Leedy, and nephew Addison Leedy all of whom she adored.

Susan and Paul loved animals, particularly riding horses, adopting stray cats, and loving their many German Shepherds.

Funeral services are under the direction of Wetzler Funeral Service, Inc. in Bellefonte. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at the funeral home between 6-8pm and Wednesday morning, January 10, 2018 at 10:30am with services officiated by Rabbi Ostrich at 11:30am. Interment will follow at Centre County Memorial Park in State College.

To all that helped Susan during her illness, words cannot express our gratitude. Thank you to all of her family and friends for their steadfast support and comfort. May all of you be blessed as we have been blessed by you.
