Thais M. Middlesworth, 93, of State College, died Wednesday, Sept. 29, 2010, at home.
Born Nov. 22, 1916, in Shamokin, she was the daughter of the late John and Naomi Zimmerman Shinski. She married Bill Middlesworth, who preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1982.
She is survived by two children, Billie Goldstein, of Phoenixville, and John Middlesworth and his wife, Rebecca, of State College; five grandchildren, Amy, Michael, Jennifer, John and Jonathan; and 10 great-grandchildren, Bess, Aiden, Ella, Ellie, Jeremy, Eli, Josephine, Harry, Chloe and Mia.
Thais had a lifelong affiliation with the First United Methodist Church in Shamokin. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Spring of 2011. Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, 106 E. Sunbury St. Shamokin, PA 17872. Arrangements by Koch Funeral Home, State College.
