Thelma A. Gingery, 87, of Julian, died Jan. 20, 2013, at Mount Nittany Medical Center. Born in Philipsburg on July 14, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Forrest F. and Mae S. Stiver Wills. On June 19, 1948, she married Kyle Gingery, who preceded her in death in 1996. Thelma was a homemaker. She was a member of the Bald Eagle Baptist Church. She belonged to numerous organizations within her church. She also belonged to the Lady Emily Rebekah Lodge of State College. She is survived by one daughter, Debra M. (John) Gill, of Julian; two grandchildren, Brady (Eva) Gill, of Julian, and Brandy (Josh) Cromley, of Potts Grove; and two great-grandchildren, Kyle Gill, and Ashlee Gill. She is also survived by two nephews and one niece, Tom Kelley, Ken Kelley, and Tana Cox. Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Gingery; and a sister, Maxine Kelley. Services will be held at Bald Eagle Baptist Church in Martha Furnace on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, at 11 a.m., with Pastor David R. Spaugh officiating. Friends will be received at the Dean K. Wetzler Funeral Home on Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Burial will be in the Brown Cemetery, Worth Township.
