Obituary of Thomas Robert Long, 62

Thomas Robert Long, 62, of Howard, passed away on Sunday March 29, 2015 at the Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.

He was born in Lock Haven, on November 25,1952, a son of the late Thomas R. Long and Mildred E. Bridgens Long of Lock Haven.

On May 2, 1991 he was united in marriage to the former Peggy S. Falls. She survives him at home. He is also survived by his son, Michael T.Long at home, as well as a brother,Bob Long, and four sisters, Verna Vandyne, Kay Leathers, Sandy Killinger, and Sheila Sementilli.

Tom was employed for many years at First Quality in McEllhatten, and proudly served his country as a Sgt. in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.He was hohorably discharged in 1973.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman and looked forward to spending time with his son this fishing season.
