Obituary of Valerie Lee Rishel, 26

Valerie Lee Rishel, 26, of Millheim entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2009 at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville. Valerie was born on December 22, 1982 in State College, the daughter of Toby L. and Sandee L. Feagley Rishel.

Valerie was a 2001 graduate of Penns Valley High School. She graduated from South Hills Business School. Valerie was formerly employed as a medical technician for Simon Eye Associates in Delaware. She was a member of Faith Methodist Church in Huntingdon. Valerie was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and always looked forward to the Centre County Grange Fair.

Valerie is survived by her mother, Sandee L. Rishel, of Millheim, by two brothers, Richard Rishel and wife Alison of Centre Hall, and by Devin L. Rishel of Millheim. Also surviving are her grandmothers, Connie S. Rishel of Millheim and Marge E. Feagley of Huntingdon.

Valerie was preceded in death by her father, Toby L. Rishel and her grandfather, Richard "Cog" Rishel.

Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, June 23 from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Steven R. Neff Funeral Home in Millheim. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 24 at 10:30 am with the Rev. Dan Shreckengast officiating. Interment will be in Fairview Cemetery in Millheim.
